These beautiful earrings are meticulously handcrafted by Daehoon Kang, a Korean born contemporary jeweller and silversmith currently living in Melbourne. 'Keumbu' is a Korean technique of applying 24k gold to silver. Daehoon translates traditional silversmithing techniques into jewellery inspired by his Korean heritage as well as Australian cultural influences. Daehoon's work was acquired for the collection of the National Gallery of Australia in 2015.
