Crimson Bottlebrush vase
by Cathy Franzi
10 x 11 x 11cm
This stunning porcelain vase, created by award winning artist Cathy Franzi, celebrates the Crimson Bottlebrush, a plant with ecological and cultural significance to the Canberra Region. The Crimson Bottlebrush on Red Hill is an historical remnant of the Walter Burley Griffin's original plan to revegetate the hills of Canberra in single colours. This piece has been hand made by throwing the form on the wheel followed by hand carving, glazing and firing. The presentation of the vase is completed with its own packaging and information card.
