This striking neckpiece by Rita Winkler is inspired by the landscape of Western Australia. Her distinctive jewellery combines sterling silver, oxidised silver, gold and semi precious stones. Each work tells a story through the choice of materials, the title of the work and the composition of the piece. Rita studied jewellery and silversmithing in Germany before emigrating to Australia in 1985. Her love of Australia is shown through her unique jewellery.
