Based in Adelaide, Danielle Rickaby creates vibrant contemporary glassware. Danielle completed a Bachelor of Visual Art (Honours) in glass at the University of South Australia in 2008, and went on to complete a two-year Hot Glass intensive at JamFactory Contemporary Craft & Design. The 'Nailed it' vase is made using a bed of nails (hence its name). Rolling hot glass on the nails creates a beautiful contemporary texture on the surface of the glass. Made using a rich transparent colour this vase really glows and will bring warmth to your space. The lustre surface of the vase adds yet another layer of visual interest, as it catches the light it throws gorgeous metallic tones.
